Four-Year Degree Plans

The anthropology degree at Missouri State can be completed in four years or a total of eight semesters. However, a four-year degree plan does not take into account dual credit or transfer credit that you may bring upon admission to the university.

The Bachelor of Arts degree offers a broad liberal arts education that includes courses in foreign language, world history, philosophy and fine arts, as well as 30 hours in anthropology.

The Bachelor of Science degree requires 39 hours in anthropology and offers a greater degree of specialization in the field than the BA.
