Education Abroad
Crossing cultural boundaries
Mark Twain once said, “Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness.” His words echo those of St. Augustine, who stated, “The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page.”
As the quotes above suggest, travel will make you a more worldly and sophisticated person, an essential trait in the rapidly globalizing, multicultural world of the 21st century. Travel will also make you a better anthropologist — an expert on peoples and cultures.
